Neoness Madeleine Paris
The fitness studio group Neoness is represented with a total of around 40 studios in the large cities of France. The combination of cardio areas, CrossFit areas and free weight zones and their location above or below flats describes the problems of fitness studios from a sound engineering perspective. This application generates structure-borne noise that disturbs the residents of the residential units.
In order to counteract the problem, the means of choice, apart from an elastic gym floor, is the soundproofing of the screed.
The impact sound insulation REGUFOAM sound 10 was installed to isolate low frequencies and REGUPOL everroll was used as the surface covering. This combination provided the appropriate solution to meet the sound insulation requirements of the project.
